Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day
Dear Sir

Persistent pain below the right rib cage (right hypochondriac region ) could be due to many causes . It could be secondary to

1. Acid peptic disease

2. Gall bladder inflammation

3. Associated constipation

Exact diagnosis will depend on clinical history and examination. It would be very helpful if you could provide me with the following additional information

1. Is the pain continuous in nature ?

2. Do you have associated nausea / vomiting?

3. Is there any loss of appetite?

4. Was the pain relieved by constipation?

5. Did you experience such pain before ?

Awaiting your response

Take care
