Hi,dear thanks for your query to HCM.
On reviewing your facts, It seems that you are in tension due to the testicular pain on left side.
I reviewed the medical history.
I would suggest you to -give Me more information to help your son more as follows :-

1. Does he have fever and/or does your son had recent attack of Mumps?
2. Does your son has any upper respiratory infection(cough/cold/runny nose/sore throat kind of stuffs) lately?

Besides this, till the time You update more information, I would suggest you to care it as follows :-

Rest -so as to avoid any damage to the part.
Keep watch on any fever or any cheek swelling developing over a weeks time.
Continue Syrup PARACETAMOL under guidance of your local doctor.
Add Antibiotics like AMOXYCILLIN 250 mg x 3 times a day for next 5 days time, just to avoid any secondary infection in time to come.

-Plenty fluids and good diet with less of spices.
This would resolve your urgent issues.

-If needed i.e. if the pain persists , Consult Surgeon, who would check up for any surgical issues with the testicular pain like this and would treat accordingly.

Hope this reply would help you to tide over this emergency and anxious situation and would cool you down to manage it properly as suggested above

I would help you out more after I get more information as asked above.
Welcome for any further query in this regard.

Good Day!!
