Suggest Remedy For Shortness Of Breath And Headaches After Mild Activity

default
Posted on Mon, 5 Oct 2015
Question: my symptoms include shortness of breath, sweating on head and neck, redness in the face, all during even mild activity as well as occasional headaches. Is this related to my high blood pressure, which I control with diet, all natural supplements and mild exercise or could I have a chronic lung problem. I also have tightness and mild burning in my chest.

Brief Answer:
It needs a planned aproach to find out whats the cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome to Health Care Magic.

Thanks for writing.

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad. I have read your question completely, i understand your concern and will try to help you in best way possible.

Here one has to differentiate between loss of stamina and a disease.
When you havent been physically active lately or you have gained some weight or its your increasing age, one does lose stamina, but if there is a sudden loss in stamina or the chest pain or compression is related to physical exertion and sweating is also related to exertion and happens even in low temperatures then this needs to be seen.

It can be related to heart and it can be related to lungs.

now after Explaining this I will summarize the causes.

1) Loss of stamina with no other disease.
2) Heart.
3) Lungs.

What to do?
What system is causing the problem is simple to be found, you just need a visit to your doctor he might get your chest Xrays, blood works, EKG done and then he can procede further with the work up if he found any thing suggestive ,.like if he finds a bad Xray he can get a CT scan of your chest.

Pulmonary function tests are available which can quantify function of a lung at what percentage of normal is it working and what is the problem.

If he found something in the heart he can plan for stress testing or an echo. And things will get cleared up with some simple non invasive tests.

So I would suggest you not to panic and visit your doctor everythimg should be fine.

I hope this answered your question, a
if you have more please feel free to ask.

Regrads.
