Question : I started Azithromycin this past Friday and have taken my third dose this morning. I have been unable to sleep any more than a couple of hours since I started the drug. Is this seriously?

Thanks for your query at HCM.
I understand your concern and situation.

Nothing to worry these are less serious side effects. Continue the treatment as recommended. The drug may cause dizziness, tired feeling, mild headache, nervous feeling and sleep problems (insomnia). These are not very serious. Take the drug after meals.
