Question : I woke up with feeling of anxiety, i get these attacks every now and then, but somehow this one seems different. i dont feel well, not sick, just feel unwell inside, my heart rate feels slower, sluggish somehow, feeling of vaguness, and i can smell this funny smell and when i use my bowels it smells like sulfur. i dont feel good at all. and also i feel tired although i have slept all night, whats going on?

and just for extra information, I have been suffering with heart palpitations for years, sometimes they last all day for days, sometimes they just come and go. i have seen doctors about this, but they dont seem at all concerned, but it concerns me.

Brief Answer:
Depression

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for choosing health care magic for posting your query.
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
From what you have stated it is quite clear that you are having a depressive episode. Depression can occur with regular stress and it can also occur biologically without any stress as well. You need proper treatment for the same. There are various effective therapies for depression like fluoxetine, venlafaxine, bupropion, mirtazapine or escitalopram and they are all very effective and mostly safe. You may also require some benzodiazepines like clonazepam or lorazepam for a short period like 2-3 weeks to reduce the anxiety and help with your sleep.
If you are averse to the drug therapies then there is also an option of cognitive behavioural therapy. This therapy is taken by either a psychologist or a psychiatrist in which the therapist identifies impaired cognitions (Thoughts) and try to correct them. They are 15-20 min weekly session and there should be around 8-10 sessions to help you with your illness.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.

Dear Dr XXXXXXX

I had a funny feeling that it might be some form of depression as i did discuss this vaguely with a doctor along time agao as i have been having these bouts of anxiety for quite some years, then they subsided and all was good in the world, it's just recently they have started back again, Thank you for your consult i shall make an appointment to discuss this with my doctor. But what i would also like to know is why when i open my bowels they have a weird smell like sulfur, this has been occuring for the past three days, although today was not as bad. Just recently i have changed my diet, consisting of grapefruit juice and more fresh vegetables and red meat, could this be the cause of the change of smell? Sincerely XXXX

Yes it could be.
