Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
Although you are suffering from sore throat which is viral infection you have developed bacterial infection also.
The usual treatment of viral sore throat is generally ...
Consumption of hot drinks
Avoiding cold drinks
Taking steam inhalation 2-3 times a day.
Avoiding smoking,if any.
But since you have bacterial infection also,you would need a course of antibiotic along with upper mentioned treatment.
Normally we prescribe a course of AUGMENTIN 625 mg three times a day to our patients in such a case, but you would need to consult your doctor for the prescription of either this antibiotic or any other as deemed proper by him.
If your nose is blocked,you can use a nasal saline drops 2-3 times a day.
