Question : For the past 3 days, I have had a stinging pain in my stomach, I feel fine other than that, my stools are normal, I have started some cranberry juice which seems to help. The stinging pain comes and goes, it is never constant.
Brief Answer:
possibel Stomach ulceration
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.
Well, first of all these medications may irritate stomach mucosa and bowel and cause such pain.
You should take some antacid medications to protect stomach such as Tab RANITIDINE 150mg Twice daily before food or Tab OMEPRAZOLE 40mg Once Daily before breakfast for 7 days.
Also you should avoid coffee, alcohol and fried food.
Eat more curd based products, menta tea, boiled food and vegetables.
Also, have smaller meals but more frequent.
Inspite-of trying all these, if pain persists or progresses then you should do gastroscopy for further diagnostics.
Wish you good health. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.
