Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Eye Post An Injury

No reason to panic
Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern. Thank you for providing a photo as well which helps to create a better idea.
Eye bruises such as yours are common when hit on the face. Often can be accompanied by some swelling as well. Looking at the photo the bruise is typical for such a hit. It is a little atypical for it to have appeared after two days but it can happen. The cause of the bruise is damage to the small blood vessels under the skin which leads to bleeding. Apparently the vessels were damaged and rendered vulnerable by the hit but were finally ruptured later, perhaps after an involuntary rub during sleep for example.
Anyway there is not much that you need to do more than you have already done. That blood under the skin will need its time to be absorbed usually it takes a couple of weeks. If you have no other symptoms there is no need to worry. By other symptoms I mean such as double vision or vision loss, difficulty moving the eye ball, black eye on both sides, the bruise increasing progressively, headache and vomiting, fever, behavior changes, seizures. If you have no such issues as I said no reason to panic, it will absorb gradually.
The cut on the forehead seems deep. Had it been the first day I would have suggested to go to the emergency room to have it stitched by a professional to have the edges come together, because when there is a face wound one wouldn't want a scar to remain, should aim for the best. At this point though I do not think it would have any value this late, so simply observe for signs of infection.
I remain at your disposal for other questions.

You're welcome.
