Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Foot Post Fever Treatment

Could be due to heart cause
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through your query and understand your concerns. Let me ask you certain questions first:
* Is your father diabetic or does he have high blood pressure? These could be related. Certain blood pressure medications like amlodipine can also cause swelling of feet. I would like to know him blood pressure and would be glad if you can get it measured. Also get the blood sugar (fasting) levels checked.
* Does he have heart problems? Swelling of feet in the afternoon that goes away in the morning is commonly caused by the heart not being able to pump properly (due to a condition called congestive cardiac failure). You would need to get a echocardiography done to exclude this possibility.
* An image would be helpful and I would insist you to attach one using the facility on the upper right of this page.
I would await your response in order to be able to help you further.
Regards

I would wait for you to attach the reports
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back.
That the BP is normal, is assuring. I do not see a possible correlation with the medicines he had taken. Without a proper clinical examination I would not be able to comment if there is any justification behind the antibiotics being prescribed; apparently I do not see any.
I would await the reports.
Regards
