Question : I have been having testicle pain for last 24 hours with a slight itchy urination sensation. what could be the cause. I drink lots of water..about 3 litres every day. Please advice relief measures.

I had gone through your question very diligently and I really appreciate your concern

Looking at your description this might be related to infection of urogenital tract when you don't have any history of injury to testis.

I would advise you to go for urine test for routine and microscopy or culture and sensitivity if need be.

You may require a course of antibiotics depending upon urine test reports.
You can take anti inflammatory drug like ibuprofen for testicular pain.

Continue taking lots of fluids, you can increase upto to 4 to 5 liters a day.

Thanx for the advice. To add further, I have been abstaining from any sex for last 3 years. Do you still advise urine and other tests?
