Question : Please answer my question. I have a feeling that something is struck in my throat. Sometimes I feel little difficulty in swallowing. I feel throat is closed while swallowing. Is it due to cold r anything else? I am getting hiccups also repeatedly, earlier it was not the case. Also I feel heart burn sometimes. These are all recent symptoms.

The possibility of Acalasia cardia , a disorder of esophagus has to be ruled out.

Hence an endoscopy is a safe option by all means.
