see neurologist; get liver tests & revise antidepressant
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your query and you have a complaint of depression and neurological symptoms.
As per my clinical knowledge, I think that your symptoms of tingling and numbness are due to neurological problem and not directly coz of depression. Due to alcohol there occurs multi vitamin deficiency and leads to nerves damage mostly in the peripheral parts of body initially- like fingers and toes and later spread to other parts. Vitamins specifically to prevent nerve damage are needed.
Alcohol also leads to liver dysfunction- so, please get liver function tests done. Avoid alcohol and smoking at all.
I would suggest that you should meet a doctor , preffrably a neurologist and get your self examined completely. Complete numbness of feet can be due to the same reason and of course there is an emotional trauma as well. Emotional factors play a big role in worsening or improving any physical ailment
You are taking pristiq for depression - but still you are drinking and smoking - it means that the drug is not able to control your sadness effectively and you have self harming behaviour.
please see a doctor and also get your antidepressant revised. There are several good drugs available in market which can make you better.
wish you good health and speedy recovery!
Feel free to ask more questions for clarification.
