Brief Answer:
Gum/tooth infection, allergic reaction, medication.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
As far as the swelling in the cheek and eye is concerned, I have two possibilities.
It can be because of the gum infection secondary to the trauma to gums caused during the placement of the crown leading to cellulitis.
The other possible cause can be a allergic reaction to the cement used or the crown.
Nothing to be panic, consult a good oral physician and get it evaluated.
Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole combination(if you are not allergic. You can also take antihistamines like cetrizine. Aspirin will not help in reducing the swelling.
The swelling should come down by 1 or 2 days. If it is not subsiding, then you need to take a radiograph to rule out any tooth infection.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
