Brief Answer:
Cavity should always be filled.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns.

As per your complaint in case if you have a cavity in your tooth and even though it is not causing any problem, you should still get it cleaned of the infection and get it filled to prevent further spread of infection.
It will save your tooth and increase its life

I would like to know a few I details so that I can guide you better
1. Is the decay in front teeth or back teeth?
2. Do you have any sensitivity in them?
3. Is there food lodgement in them?

Kindly revert back soon

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.

Brief Answer:
Resin filling work best.

Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome again..

As per your reply it seems that there has been a small decay in your tooth and at times the infection become arrested that is it gets concealed and hardened and does not progress further..
In that case it can be left as it is and proper hygiene maintenance is done..
But as it is a front tooth and a black mark can be unsighty as well as the infection can progress further and decay the tooth..
So to be on a safer side my suggestion would be to get the decay removed and get the tooth filled..
Composite resin [tooth coloured filling material] will work well in this case..

Any further queries are welcome..

Regards.
