Question : hello I have been having upper right abdomainal pain that radiates around to my side an ribs. had an ultrasound done and also the test where they inject XXXXXXX to check the gallbladder and all that came back normal. also had an endoscopy done and nothing there as well, pain is a constant deep pain that gets aggravated when laying on that side, bending over and occasionally eating. what could this be? been going on for months
Brief Answer:
Abdominal CT should be done.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
The next step in your diagnostic should be abdominal CT. Similar to gallstones symptoms can appear due to pancreas issues. In some cases (very rare) there might be a lump in the pancreas invisible in the ultrasound.
Liver tests (AST, ALT, GGTP, AP, bilirubin, amylase) should be also checked. Some problems with bile ducts can give such symptoms as well. If so, this tests should be elevated.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

Ok one more question. When exerting myself when working out it makes it hard to brwathe and huts. Kind of like a sideache but worse. Can this all be tied togther?
Brief Answer:
Yes it can be tied together.
Detailed Answer:
When you do that during working out, you may get such pain if the problem is with structures located close to diaphragm or nerves. This points to liver/gallbladder/pancreas area and can be tied together.
