Question : 3 months ago when i was walking suddenly i got this tense feeling in the back of my head followed by weakness in my feet and lightheaded.
in my mind i thought it could be because i didnt had anything to eat for breakfast but when i tried to eat something it was extremely difficult to sowllow
This feeling stayed for hours till it goes and i was left with headache for hours till i slept
The next day everything was normal i walk up and went to work but then again it happened my friend rushed me to ER BUT THEY SAID EVERYTHING IS normal then i left feeling normal and continue my day the only thing i noticed is that i snapped on my friend for no apparent reason which is odd since iv always been calm man not so easy to irritate
Anyway on the same day at night when i was smoking hookah yet again i had this intense feeling in the back of my head and rushed back home
Between these 3 episodes of attacks everything was normal
However after the third episode i was left with sever headache that lasted for a week and no pain killer helped with it
Then after that, the headache become milder but i had lightheaded, confusion , difficulty in consternation , foggy mind to the point that on of my friend when i was talking to him thought that i was having a stroke, changes in personality and behavior , depression and some times intense sharp pain in the back of the head which feels like electric shot and sometimes numbness and tingling in the left side of my head these symptoms lasted for two months i have them constantly all day long but i noticed that they were getting better with time.
Right now all previous symptoms subside or became milder but i still have dull pain in the left side of my head mostly in the back that tingle and numb and i still depressed and not feeling like my old self with no much energy to do stuff or even enjoying things i used to love and difficulty in falling asleep
My question is recently like 2 weeks ago i found out that i was infected with hsv 1 does it have any thing to do with it like affecting some nerves or something ?
Did the headache i had 3 months ago was because i had viral meningitis ?
Note: the only test i had is ct scan which came back normal

Hello dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Primary headache in this young age is mostly migraine or tension type headache.
Migraine headache is precipitated by skipping meal, stress, decreased sleep.
The headcahe is usually throbbing nature, hemicarnial or holocranial, feeling of nausea, vomiting, photophobia, phonophobia, increased on exertion and relieved on rest and mediactions.
Possibilty of secondary headache due to HSV infection is less likely and require MRI imaging of brain with angiograpghy and CSF study in acute phase.
At present i will advise you to consult a neurologist and atke migraine medications like amitryptiline, flunarizine or topiramate, valproate with pain killer medications , naprosyn.
If your symptoms does'nt improve then get a MRI brain .

Thank you for answering my quistion
Does migrean headache cause all the other symbtoms like lightheded and confusion and foggy mind ?
Also 2 weeks ago i took imitrix for migrean headache but my whole left hand went numb and my heart started palpatating so i had a panic attack so i stopped it

I will advice you to take amitryptyilne 10 mg and flunarizine 10 mg with consultation of a neurolgist who can examine you for absence of any objective abnormal signs.
If you have a anxiety type personality then you can also try propranolol.
