Question : I was wondering whether I should be concerned about a weight gain and a stomach that is very tight and uncomfortable after eating, especially the evening meal. I feel as though I have severely overeaten when I have actually had a very modest amount. It is tight and hard on the sides and up under my breasts. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Do not worry about the weight gain part.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to healthcare magic. Thank you for posting your query. I can understand your concern.

I would like to ask you a few questions.
A. Have you had such symptoms before?
B. Do you have any other gastro problems like vomiting, or heart burn?
C. How are the bowels?

I would suggest you to get a blood hemoglobin, total count, esr, amylase , lipase , liver function done and an ultrasound whole abdomen done to rule out any pathology.

I would start tablet pantoprazole along with domperidone and syrup mucaine gel . This will relieve your discomfort.
Your doctor can guide on the exact dosage.

Have a nice day.
