Question : I have had these welts show up on my legs that later look like bites. My dog does not have fleas, i have no idea what is causing these or what they are.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely allergic ( like after caterpillar bite or insect bite reaction).

Using calamine lotion locally and taking antihistamines like benadryl will be helpful. If it is not helping then corticosteroid ointments like hydrocortisone for local application will be helpful.

All these you can get over the counter.
