Suggest Remedy For Yeast Infection When On Amoxicillin

Question : I'm currently taking amoxicillin for a sinus infection and was given fluconazole to take after to prevent a yeast infection. I have 4 more days left on amoxicillin and I think I have developed a yeast infection. Can I take these at the same time?

I am so sorry to hear about this possible yeast infection that you have reported. Could you please list your symptoms for me to review and tell whether they are suggestive of a a possible yeast infection of not?

Amoxicillin can be safely taken with fluconzole. There is no drug interaction between these two medications. If you must go ahead and take it, they are safe to be taken together.

I have severe itching. I have a white, thick discharge, but it doesn't smell. And it is painful when I urinate when the urine touches my skin and my skin is red and hurts.
