Brief Answer:
Carotenemia

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I understand your concerns but don't worry. The most likely reason for these symptoms is carotenemia which occurs due to excess Vitamin A (carotene) intake. Because carotene is excreted by sebaceous glands and is present in sweat, the yellow pigmentation is particularly noticeable in areas where sweating is marked. If there is no associated symptoms and sclera is clear then there is no need to worry.

Broccoli and pumpkin are both rich source of carotene. So, I would recommend you to restrict their intake for a few days. Give all variety of cereals, pulses, fruits, eggs, non veg and vegetables. Kids can have all that you can have at this age. Give 4-5 bowls of food apart from milk.

Hopefully it will be of help. I would be happy to help you in any further questions.
Take care

Thank for your reply. I will definitely restrict his pumpkin and brocolli intake now. I read that full cream milk is suggested for his age too. How much is enough per day? He is still having his formula fed daily so is whole milk still necessary?

No need for whole milk if he is fed formula milk

There is no need for whole milk if he is formula fed. 3-4 glasses (200ml) is enough for 24 hours.
