Brief Answer:
Get serum electrolytes done; Dont take medicines on your own

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Welcome to HCM.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

I understand your concern.
Yes probably you are having electrolyte disturbances which might be altered potassium as well as sodium levels. Dont take any medicine on your own. You should take enough fluid per orally now(preferably electolyte solutions like ORS) and get a serum electrolyte assay done. This will reveal any alterations as well as rule out other possible causes. However considering your age other causes are unlikely plus you have a similar history before. So visit a doctor, get examined and the tests done and take medicine as advised after it. Potassium syrups are available in many names like potklor etc but dont take it unless advised by a doctor.
Hope this was helpful.
