Question : since XXXXXXX I'm suffering from excruciating pain under my feet. It's happening only in left foot. Earlier I used to get a little bit of pain during early morning after getting up from bed. Later it stopped. However, during June'14, when I was walking in treadmill, I felt light pain in my left foot. I got into my cab and couldn't feel the pain anymore. But while getting down, it didn't allow me to stand on my feet at all. It was bad and worsen with time. Now, after checking with doctors, the pain is under control. But it doesn't allow me to walk for more than 30 mns. Pain comes back. I use hot-bag for temporary relief. I'm trying for a permanent solution. for loosing weight, I need to workout. But, because of the pain, I can't.

Brief Answer:
Warm saturated salt solution

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
This type of planter fascitis is often suffered by female patients.

I hope you are not diabetic.
Your history of ""allergic to pain killers'' worried me. Please give details.

I can suggest the following in such a patient;

Take broad based bucket or a bowl in which you can rest your both feet comfortably.
Pour in a water till it fills up to 8 inches. Remove the feet and start adding common salt to the water. Go on adding till you can see the salt not being able to dissolve. This makes it supersaturated solution.
Once this saturated solution is made, you have to make it warm on a stove to an extent that the back of your hand can tolerate, pour it into the bucket, test the temperature again, rest your feet in to the bucket. Keep part of the solution on the stove so that you can add warm solution to the bucket with feet. Continue for 15 minutes minimum twice daily. Do not throw away this solution as it will look dirty after some days; use the same.

You may take an additional oral steroids in the form of deflazacort under the prescription of your Doctor, in tapering dosage and may take diuretics if needed as you are allergic to pain-killers.
Always take multivitamins as they act like anti-oxidants.

I hope this helps you as it helps many of my patients.

Wishing you an early recovery.

thanks Doctor,

Let me try this and I will get back to you.

By alergic to pain killers I refer to a recent situation. I goot wisdom tooth recently and doctor suggetsed some pain killers and antibiotics. my pain was subsided, but I had loose motion for the next two weeks.

In general, I avoid taking alopathic medicines and rely on ayurvedic. So, not used to of having too many medicines could be another reason too.

Brief Answer:
Disturbed GI flora.

Detailed Answer:
Great !
You are going to have a great relief with the line of management I have suggested.
The solution has to be saturated, not less. You have add common salt till it stops dissolving.

Ayurvedic or any XXXXXXX is your personal choice. All have their own plus and minuses.

The loose motions by antibiotics are due to disturbed gastrointestinal flora ( of normal residing bacteria) and can be corrected by prebiotics and probiotics. This is not a reaction.

Start doing the treatment and you will be fine.
