Question : Hi, Is there a preservative-free combination of eyedrops and lid cleansers to help relieve burning of blepharitis?

Try baby shampoo

Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

you have blephritis and having difficulty treating the symptoms. I usually recommend my patients to get baby shampoo and I strongly urge getting the real Johnson's Baby shampoo. Make a solution of 1/2 shampoo and 1/2 water. Then when showing or bathing use this solution to gently scrub the eyelashes. This will help remove debris and reduce the irritation from the infection. I don't find eye drop to be helpful as they have preservatives

If you want you can find plan saline solution without preservatives and use that to wash the eyelids. I do find my patients respond well to the baby shampoo scrubs to reduce their symptoms.
