Question : Hi,

I have a daughter who is 3.5 yrs old. She had her ear pierced yesterday. Can u pl. let me know what things to be taken care of for early healing and avoiding infections.

How should the pierced area be cleaned ? Can I apply some ointment ?

Thanks for the query.
keep the area as clean as possible.
Better don't wet the ears for 3 days after that you can wash with water and baby shampoo .
Apply ointment mupirocine twice daily for 5 days.
