Question: Dear Doctor ,
I am 26yrs old woman and i am 1 week pregnant. We had sex on 3rd july and today i found out that i am pregnant through urine test .Kindly suggest me how to abort .Is it safe for me to abort this time . I am unmarried please suggest me a safe way .
Yesterday i had a raw papaya and i had suffered a pain in my stomach today evening .

The pregnancy of gestation age less than 7 weeks ( calculated from the last menstrual period) can be easily and safely aborted by medical method using medicines mifepristone and misoprostol, under the supervision of the registered medical practitioner.
I would suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, get an ultrasound done and further management should be done accordingly.
Papaya and other home remedies are very unreliable methods of termination of pregnancy.

Dear Doctor ,
By using medicine like mifepristone and misoprostol will i loose large amount of blood ? my HB count is less .Since its 1 week will mifepristone iteself lead to abortion or is it compulsary to have misoprostol

11 is my hb count .doctor i had sex with my partner on 3rd of this month and my last period was on XXXXXXX second week ( donot remember the exact date )

Hi dear, you are around 5 weeks pregnant and your haemoglobin is also good. You can safely take medical method of abortion. It is associated with bleeding, but if bleeding is excessive then the prescribing doctor can decide to do a surgical abortion.Medical method of abortion is 98% effective when both the drugs are taken. Mifepristone alone does not assures complete abortion.

My last period was on second week of XXXXXXX .
