Brief Answer:
Haldicuff ayurvedic cough syrup

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

She can take haldicuff ayurvedic cough syrup. It is very safe during breast feeding.

She can also take benadryl (diphenhydramine) cough syrup but the ayurvedic medicines are more safe during breastfeeding.

She should also do saline gargles and take vicks and steam inhalation.

Make sure she wears an abdominal belt over her stitches to reduce the impact and pain on stitches while coughing.

For nipples she can apply lanolin cream (nipcare). They are safe but make sure she rubs it off before breast feeding. They will not cause any harm to baby if ingested but will have a bad taste.

Does she have fever also?
