Brief Answer:
Cialis seems to be safe if you are taking only apixaban.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would explain that there is not interaction between apixaban and cialis when taken concomitantly.

This means that you can take them both, without any risk of possible adverse effects.

So if you are taking only apixaban, it would be safe to take cialis.

The problem with cialis and other drugs of this pharmacological class (like sildenalfi, tadanafil, levitra, etc) is the possible interactions with nytroglycerine and some other drugs (some beta blockers, olmesartan, amlodipine, etc.).

The drugs of this class (used for erectile dysfuction) differ from each other from their interactions with other drugs (other than nytroglycerine).

Could you give me some more information about your actual therapy, besides apixaban? What other drugs are you taking?

I could give a more specific information on any potential adverse effects.
The drugs used for erectile dysfunction differ from each other from their interactions with other drugs (other than nitroglycerin).

Feel free to ask any other questions, whenever you need.

Hope to have been helpful!

Best regards,

Dr. Iliri

Brief Answer:
I recommend using Levitra for your erectile dysfunction.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Thank you for the additional information provided.

I would explain that cialis could cause adverse effects when used concomitantly with bisoprolol and ramipril.

It increases effects of both bisoprolol and ramipril by pharmacodynamic synergism, leading to a high risk of hypotension.

I would recommend using vardenafil (Levitra), which has no interactions with your actual therapy and seems to be a safe drug in your situation.

Please, you should keep in mind that it can be dangerous when used with nitroglycerine and you should avoid their concomitant use.

Hope to have been helpful!
