Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using health care magic.
I appreciate your choice of contraception and Like to inform you that lot of options are available for both of you.
1. Oral contraceptive pills(OCP)- They are safe and do not change any hormone profile in women. Only problem with them is need to be taken daily and not suitable for above 35 years. Can be stopped any day while willing to become pregnant. No after effects.
2. Depot preparation- No need to be taken daily. Need to administered once in a three to six months. They take time to get fertility back as the medicine remains in the body for longer duration.
3. Copper T- Safe, Effective, Low chance of failure, no daily dosage. Not suitable for women with pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). This seems to be the most suitable for your needs if she have no contraindication like PID.
4. Safe sex period- Avoidance of sex during fertile period which lasts about one week in a month
5. Interruption method- Interrupting yourself while having sex and discharging semen outside. Problem-high failure rate.
You can contact your local doctor and talk to her. In my view copper T followed by OCP is best method for her with more than 99% success rate.
'Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help".
Thanks
