My relative 20yrs old is having unwanted pregnancy. she is 8wks+5days. Intrauterine pregnancy confirmed by scan. Can she take pills?Please guide.Thanking you.

The pills are effective for abortion only upto 7 weeks of pregnancy. At 8 weeks 5 days she needs a surgical abortion- D&C. Do consult a gynecologist for the procedure.
