Question : Dear doctor, my baby is 11 months old female. I want to introduce solid foods for her alternative to milk. Please give suggestions.
Brief Answer:
Start semisolids
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health care magic.
Ideally weaning to semisolids is to be done by 6 months of age. In the case of your daughter it has already been delayed. Begin by giving her fruit puree twice a day. You can give her mashed potatoes or banana. Boil vegetables along with pulses and rice and give in mashed form. Gradually increase the frequency. Introduce one new food item per week.
Let me know if I could help further.
Regards
