Question: Due to a move I do not have medicare coverazge for maybe 2weeks. I am about to use the last of my Ranexa which I take tweice a day. What damage will occur if I can not affoeds to refile my prescription right now?

Hi and thank you for asking HCM!

I would like to say that you can try to take Ranexa one time a day in the morning till you and the medications.

You have to wait, the only complication in this case are an increase in chest pain frequencies and severity.

I recommend to take isosorbite mononitrate on the regular bases which are cheaper than ranexa. In case of severe angina don't hesitate to go immediately to the ER.
