Question: Which is a better test for the Throid, TSH or T3 &T4?

Detailed Answer:
TSH is the most helpful. However, in certain contexts it is a good idea to run the Free T4 test too. Total T3 and Total T4 are less commonly done nowadays as Free T4 is generally a better test.
Thyroid testing is not as straightforward as a choosing from an array of the above mentioned tests. It involves a complex decision making process after detailed evaluation of the individual and then selecting the appropriate tests.
So I see you are on levo thyroxine. In these circumstances, most endocrinologists in the world would check only TSH and Free T4
