Thanks for your query.

If the disease is in the initial stage then it can be cured by simple techniques like exercise and dieting . In addition you can take a small dose medication. Once the disease is well established then only option is to control the disease with medications.

Moderate blood sugar levels, recently diagnosed diabetes, no complications like neuropathy, nephropathy or vascular diseases etc is considered diabetes in initial stage.
