Question : I am taking Actimarin Forte one tab daily. SGOT and SGPT were found slightly higher. Now they are in limit. I am on atorvastatin 10 mg /day since long time. Lipid profile is fine. other parameters are also fine. Please suggest the dose of Actimarin forte and its duration.

Brief Answer: to be taken for atleast 1 year Detailed Answer: Namasthe Welcome Healthcare-Magic Greetings of the day Dear Mr XXXXXXX If you are taking Actimarin forte{ Silymarin (140mg) | Ursodeoxycholic Acid (300mg)} for alcoholic liver disease the dosage is 300 mg of Ursodeoxycholic acid 300 mg two times a day. It has to be taken for atleast 1 year for the effect to be seen. It would be very helpful if you could provide me the indication for which you wre taking. Wishing you a very happy and healthy life. It was prescribed for mild hepatomaglea with fatty lever grade 1
