Question : HI,
I TAKE LYRICA FOR PAIN. I WENT DOWN 50 ML. TO 300ML, A DAY AND THE PAIN IS A LOT WORSE.
DOES 50 ML. MAKE THE SIDE EFFECTS WORSE OR IS 50 NOT THAT BAD. I WANT TO GO BACK TO 350ML.

Detailed Answer:
It's a pretty safe drug. I'm really not sure why it was classified as a controlled substance. Addiction to it is pretty darn rare. Going off of it entirely and fast might be a trigger of seizures in susceptible people but it would not necessarily happen to most.

The side effects of it are not serious, while they are dose related:
1) the mild side effects like dizziness, sleepiness, dullness come at a lower dose than serious ones so there is warning but mainly....
2) if you tolerated a higher dose before there is no reason why you couldn't tolerate it again.

Lyrica does NOT have long term deleterious effects on kidney and liver and monitoring of those toxiciites would be random (not related to the drug nor the timing nor the dose of the drug).
