Question : Is it ok to be giving my my 5 year old son 3mg of melatonin about 2-3 times a week to help he sleep at bedtime?

Yeah I have a mother in law saying it's not safe. but he has trouble getting to bed at night and is up till sometimes 7am and I think k that it will help him get the sleep his body needs
