Question : I need to have some advice on cases of depression especially on students
The student is bright and a freshman majoring in physics in one of the top universities in the US. He secured a GPA of 4 in the first semester but suddenly now feels life has no meaning and also began losing interest in basic things . Used to keep himself playing video games but now has lost interest in it. Had one session with the school counselar and another scheduled later this week. Need to know whats the reason and how to get it fixed. He was told he must decided and change his attitude. He is also interested in deep psychology and philosophy and this must have influenced his thoughts in the recent past
