Brief Answer:
Various measures for dark areas after sunburn.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.
I can understand your concern for the dark areas after sunburns. In case of darkness due to sunburn , it can be of recent origin or of late duration.

In recent origin cases an application of despite lotion can be done for around 2 weeks and then can be shifted to kojic and arbutin application.

If it is from few months then I suggest my patients to apply kojic acid directly. I suggest my patients to apply the cream at night time. A pea size amount is sufficient for palm size area.

A sunscreen should be used daily half an hour before going out.

Consume a lot of fruits and green vegetables on daily basis.

I hope this helps.
