Brief Answer:
No active treatment needs for renal stone

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

A 4mm calculus in kidney will almost certainly not cause trouble and your mother needs to improve her oral fluid intake and the stone should be able to come out spontaneously in 90% of patients.

If required, she can take oral potassium citrate syrup like k•cit or ston1 thrice daily with water after meals.

She should however get treatment for gallstones and best option will be a laparoscopic gallbladder removal at a time when she has no symptoms so that she will not have trouble due to a pain or fever.

Hope I have been of help.

Brief Answer:
Surgery simple, can be done at your convenience

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This is a fairly straight forward surgery and as long as there is no pain or fever, can be done at your convenience.

The laparoscopic charges in XXXXXXX vary a lot from hospital to hospital and your room preferences, but I think a general ward in a good hospital should cost 60000 upwards.

The recovery will also be usually within a week at experienced hands.
