I have a lot of trouble concentrating and staying in task. Doing household tasks take me a long time. I forget to pay bills.

Poor concentration, difficulty to stay in a task, finishing tasks not in time, forgetfulness etc could be occurring due to ADHD, but for making diagnosis detailed evaluation is needed.

Hyperactivity, impulsivity, poor attention are three main features of ADD and these consists of a lot of symptoms. Symptoms should be causing persistent distress in social, personal, occupational domain.

Other possible causes like mood disturbances like depression should also be ruled out. If you have doubts regarding ADD then you have to personally visit a psychiatrist for evaluation.
