Suggest Treatment For ARMD
Question: I have ARMD and am trying to hold it in check with some alternative health ideas, I get nearly
6500mg vit a 310 vit c 30 zinc 1.5 copper 400 Taurine 5.5 Zeaxanthin 4 Astaxathin
2 Lycopene plus 210 mg N-Acetyl L-Cystein 210 carrot pdr 200 Bilberry 120 N-Schisandra
45 each of Eyebright , L-Gluamic acid, Glycine 7 mg ALA 2 Lycopene These are part of formulas for ARMD called Vision essentials (Dr. Whitaker) and Healthy Vision Complete (True Health Dr. Cutler)
Plus I take 3 Cod liver Oil pills and Cruciferous vegetables and B Vitamins to try forestall advancement.
Would any of these dosages cause some mm jerking at rest? I have also been taking Seanol (Ecklonia cava to decrease cholesterol , flaxseed oil, coQ10 , and CogniBoost (HCL,Blueberry, Ginseng, Turmeric and Phosphalidycholine from soy)
Also am on Prevacid daily and Levoxyl daily

As I understand, ARMD means age related degradation of central part of retina leading to loss of central vision. If you meant something else, please let me know.
At the outset I would like further details to ascertain the type to ARMD like wet or dry ARMD
Wet ARMD mean formation of new blood vessels whereas dry means deposition certain substances know as Drusens
I would like further details for better assessment like
Since how long you have this problem?
What all symptoms you are having?
Do.you smoke or consume liquor?
You are taking right medicines as all the nutrient supplements and antioxidants are required to prevent further damage and maintenance of healthy eye sight. Apart from these drugs there are certain other drugs are available for wet ARMD Like monoclonal antibodies and photodynamic therapy
You should wear sunglasses and use other adaptive devices like magnifying glasses, especial eyeglass lenses, computer screen readers.

Wavy lines when viewing telephone/light poles or other straight lines. Blurred dark area just above center of vision.
No smoking ever and little liquor-occ, wine 4 -8 X per year
Have heard of Protandim doing well on dry macular as I have, but have not obtained any. I know from whom I can obtain this med.

Your sentence structure looks XXXXXXX but I do not know of Hudda being an XXXXXXX name. I spent 3 wks there in 1998 and enjoyed tremendously.

As of now you are taking all the essential food supplements and antioxidants, which will halt further progression of the disease so continue with all these.
Protandim is combined herbal preparation which contains extracts of turmeric, ashawgandha and green tea and other herbs. It has antioxidant property you can add it to your treatment after consulting your doctor.
Try to protect your eyes from direct sunlight and exposure to any kind of chemical fumes.
