Question : I have CAD. I also have PVD, with varicose veins, edema, pitting. Can there be a relationship between the two conditions?

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Thank you for posting your query on HCM.

Well looking into your query I will like to tell you that CAD and PVD are related because both are caused by atherosclerosis which narrows the lumen of the arteries .

But varicose veins which leads to edema on your ankles are unrelated .There can be many factors leading to this.
