Gastro-esophageal reflux disease and obstructive sleep apnoea...
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting the query.
The symptoms described by you are the features of Gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD). You are already aware of the fact that the oily food worsens your GERD, hence you need to avoid the greasy food as much as possible. Do not worry its a treatable cause, with the medications and few preventive measures this problem can be taken care of.
My suggestions to you are:
1. Drink plenty of warm water.
2. Try taking proton pump inhibitors (such as esomeprazole or pantoperazole) and a prokinetic (such as domperidone or metachlopramide) for at least 3-4 months.
3. Avoid coffee/tea/spicy food/fizzy drinks/chilled food & beverages/smoking if any.
4. Avoid lying down immediately after taking the food.
5. Take a good breakfast, moderate lunch and a light dinner.
6. Exercise regularly.
Regarding your snoring, you need to consult an ENT doctor for a complete evaluation. There can be obstruction in nose or neck which needs to be identified and treated accordingly. Moaning is a common phenomenon which many of the individuals have and it is not something dangerous.
Hope I have answered your query; I'll be available for the follow up queries.
