Question : Are there data supporting safety of good treatment response with Nexavar for HCC and new tx for HCV? Is treating the underlying cause contraindicated?

Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this HCC that you have. Generally, treating for HCV when you have already developed complications like HCC would not make any meaningful difference. This is why the treatment is often not recommended.

Novel treatment for HCV has many articles that have reported high sustained virological response(SVR) in a great percentage of clients who have received this treatment. The side effects are also very minimal compared to interferon based regimens that were used in the past.

This tables shows the survival percentages using nevaxar compared to other medications and placebo. Nevaxar has show better results compared to every other drug available on the market and to placebo. Copy this link and paste in your search window.
