Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.
Thank you for writing to us.
I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Well I am sure you are aware of the basic information about the types 6 and 11 being low risk, and HPV 53 being on the list of high risk to develop to more serious consequences.
That being said, you should also know that in cases where high risk HPV strains are diagnosed, those cases are also more vigorously treated and monitored. So the chances of it developing into cancer is actually lower, especially if you follow medical advise and go for the follow ups on a regular basis.
The treatment is similar to other strains, and also depends on the staging, but can include:
+Laser therapy
+Cryofreezing (freezing and removing the abnormal cells)
+Special type of biopsy called cone biopsy which is both diagnostic as well as proves to be therapeutic as we remove the abnormal cells through it
+Topical creams
+LEEP (loop electrosurgical excision procedure)
+Electrocauterization
and a few other approaches
Depending on the staging and presentation your doctor will decide what will best suit you. HPV usually is well controlled with proper management, but there is no permanent cure for it sir.
I hope I have explained things in a manner best understood by you. Please do not hesitate to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.
Best wishes.
