Suggest Treatment For IBS

Question: Sir, I have gastric and related problems along with sinusitis since i was 19,i had improper digestion and was not able to lead a normal life.I had gone through enough test and medication but practically i can't claim to lead life as i did before i turned 19.Today i am 30 and for the past 3 years i've been noticing some very bizarre symptoms in me which i never came across. When i wake up in morning i don't even remember a single day leaving home without going 3 to 4 times or more in toilet. The stool sometimes is constipated and some other times its like semi-solid or watery. But even after that i feel a sort of motion tendency whole day round. Its affecting my daily life as i am not able to concentrate on anything which is invariably leading to frustration and irritation.Even i'm scared to go for any event or travelling.I tried all sorts of medicine(Allopathy/Homeopathy) and undergone many tests, but was of no use,i'm still suffering...i want to get rid of it..please help!!!!!
Brief Answer:
SOunds like IBS-M
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal
Your symptoms to me sound like the feature of a condition called IBS
IBS is a syndrome where like you, the patient has alternating constpation and diarrhea and is associated with abdominal discomfort.
I would suggest you meet a gasrtoenterologist for a prescription of
1. isapghulla,
2. amitryptilline
3, rifaximin
Also try some relaxation techniques. These may sound unrelated. But believe me, if it is IBS-M, nothing is going to help you more
Best of luck
