Question : i have the symptoms of lyme disease but it doesnt show up in my blood test

I appreciate your concern

If the lesion of lyme disease is typical which is consistent with its clinical manifestations then lab confirmation with serology becomes unnecessary. Treatment should be initiated.

For skin manifestation alone, Doxycycline or cefuroxime are treatment choices.

For joint disease and seventh nerve palsy, same treatment

For cardiac and neuro involvement other than 7 th nerve, IV ceftriaxone is used.
