Question : I am dealing overactive bladder,frequency,urgency, have had very bad symptoms fro last 24hr, need an antibiotic,either leaquin or cipro, I am being treated for over active bladder by a urologist, normally I can get my symptoms under control with taking a bath, I have not had any sleep for 48 hrs due to urgency.I have been dx with interstitial cystitis and over active bladder, when I have a flare up usually an antibiotic helps tremendously I was going to urgent care this morning but is not open until ten, and I thought I would try this first,I also would not be able to reach my Dr. at this time of day. My pharmacy is CVS-770-671-2797

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have been diagnosed to have Over Active Bladder Syndrome and Interstitial Cystitis.

In a given odd situation and the remote possibility of availability of medicines immediately you can try barley water which is freely available in general stores along with taking cold water bath till you can manage to get medications.

Since you know your problem it is better to keep buffer stock of these drugs like Soliten and antibiotic(Ciprofloxacin) with you so as to avoid to face such situation.
