Question : What are the treatment options available for a 7yo with PANDAS?

Brief Answer: see below Detailed Answer: Hi Thanks for writing to health care magic. PANDAS is usually treated with behaviour modification and medication. Initially SSRI like fluoxetine is tried to control symptoms. Antibiotics are given if there is active streptococcal throat infection. In refractory cases, steroids , ivig and plasmapheresis are done . Regards Dr Arun
