Question : My wife has been diagnosed with PCOM. The next doctors appointment is only after a week. She has some cholesterol and we understand from her friends that she should loose some weight. What should be an ideal South XXXXXXX diet that she can follow
Brief Answer:
Diet management advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello sir, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Yes PCOD is basically all about weight which is the only modifiable factor and thus should be taken care of.
Avoid oily fried food as much as possible.
Take a lot of salad and fresh fruit in between meals as fillers.
Avoid long gaps in between meals and thus avoid binge eating (a lot of chapati at one time)
Drink a lot of water.
Milk intake should be good and take it in double toned form.
All the best.
